Join us October 21st for Lago Vista’s cool-weather 5k and Kids Runs. This year the race will be held at the Lago Vista High School cross country course. Portion of proceeds going to rebuild Lago Vista Cross Country Course, partially displaced by the beautiful new athletics facilities and parking.

Firecracker 5k

The 2024 Firecracker 5k highlights Lago Vista’s Independence week festivities. Join hundreds of racers from casual dog walkers and grade school students running their first race, to out-of-state collegiate and professional runners with prizes and swag to go around. This year we are adding youth-specific races, a daily training plan by experts, and other special features to be announced.
Registration opens in August with early bird specials. Firecracker 5k is now accepting sponsors for 2024. Lock up your spot now with a whole year to fly the flag.
